Today [livejournal.com profile] runstaverun was acting like a talking hairless monkey version of Quizilla, having people take a quiz for a psych class. Based on the 25 questions by Mark Snyder, [livejournal.com profile] periol is low to moderate on the scale, getting a ten. [livejournal.com profile] runstaverun self-monitored his self-administrated self-monitoring test, and thought he should get closer to a fifteen or sixteen than the slightly lower number he got. [livejournal.com profile] mrfantasy got an eighteen, while I got a twenty.

Interesting that the author came to the same conclusion that I did. For years, I was worried about who I really was under the dozens of masks I wore, until I theorized that I was all of the masks. He agrees with that statement, and thinks that questions attempting to ascertain the true person underneath is all is missing the point. I agree. But still we circled [livejournal.com profile] dougthenut that day senior year, attempting to topple the tower of identity that clutched the blanket tightly while backed into the corner of the small Riker single. While that day was great for everyone else's self-discovery, [livejournal.com profile] dougthenut was a means - as they realized - for the end wasn't really aimed for properly.

Thanks to Mark for letting me know that a rap song about DXM abuse exists. How gangster.
