For those not in the area, the Pulaski Skyway is a handy little road that easily transports people from the highway system in Newark to Jersey City, bypassing the snarled industrial and post-industrial areas of Newark and Kearny. Two lanes going each way, very few on or off ramps in the middle that are useful unless you're a truck or factory worker, but it handles plenty of commuters going to or from Hoboken or the Holland Tunnel.

So, when there's an accident on this narrow two-lane road, your shit's fucked up. Saturday [livejournal.com profile] towelboy, Diane, [livejournal.com profile] kikibird, [livejournal.com profile] runstaverun and I had to get back to my place while the Skyway was closed for hours. We ended up shooting up to 3, going past the Meadowlands, and sliding down through Hoboken's northernmost entry.

Today, I wasn't so lucky.

The PIII XP image is running nicely. Soon students who have PIII E500s can actually have a stable and wonderful computing experience after buying some extra memory. The only bitch is going to be the CD-RW software. If only the Germans were easier to communicate with.

In other news, further proof of the Xbox kicking ass.

LJ-cut for the dead greased Yoda dolls... )
Yeah, I need to dress up more often, I clean up well. I used to all the time, for no good reason, I need to make that a habit again. The photographer, [livejournal.com profile] caniswolfie, thinks I look like I'm ready to slip someone a fifty or break their kneecaps. Well, the tie's Italian.
