As I said to _guy_incognito, I can perfectly understand any avoidance of White Castle if onions are an issue. Even the shakes have onion fumes splattered against the outer side of the cup.
There's some wonderful burgers I'll have to introduce you to if/when you make it out here. They're a million times better than White Castle, but they're not open 24/7, and White Castle fills that cheap fast 5 AM niche nicely for me. They're the shady burgers you have after a serious bender.
They definitely do a number on your system. Many lesser men have requisitioned the throne for an extended period of time after having a decent number with me.
