Took me forever to download it on Steam yesterday, so I didn't get to play except for about an hour before work today.
Needless to say I can't say it's fully captured the feel and flavor of the Fallout 1 and 2 if I've only played an hour, and I'm still in the childhood/tutorial phase, but there's definitely a lot to like from what I've seen so far and there hasn't been a single thing yet that felt out of place to me. Unless combat totally sucks or things go wonky once I get out of the vault, I expect to love this game.
I do desperately miss the Gifted trait though. So many good stats, so few stat points!
