I was disappointed by Fable, but still enjoyed it. Ignoring the hype letdown, it still had a lot of flaws, but was a beautiful and fun distraction for a while despite the tiny areas and loading times between 'em.

Fable 2 I was going to take a pass on until it was in the bargain bin, but people have convinced me to give it a shot. Particularly assfingers. A lot of my complaints about the original are gone, and it's a fun light-hearted game.
