One thing that we both know but other people might not:
All of the layers with two blocks on them had them in the outside positions, all that had them in the one-middle-one-outside position had them forcefully removed (sometime by holding the tower still with the remaining fingers on the removing hand.
yeah, we were totally regulation about things... one hand, turn order was kept, I kept on thinking I was having one of the worst, shakiest Jenga nights of my life, (it worked out) and now I can say that I've played Jenga and had only one block that could be removed. (or had to be removed, it turns out it also could be removed)
