So, while in Soviet Canuckistan, I celebrated Canada Day with our gracious Canadian hosts. To celebrate their wonderful trade policies regarding communist nations, I had Cuban rum and a Cuban cigar.

I'd imagine that, in a blind taste test, Cuban rum and tobacco aren't the best -- after all, they're deprived of investment dollars and the largest export market on earth.

There is a whole other huge world outside of our borders. I know that's hard to believe, but really, it's true.
While I still prefer St. Maarten's rum, this is better than any rum I've had from any liquor store in the US of A.
The cigar was fantastic. Why do you think our rich pay so much to get them illegally? They're that damn good.

"Why do you think our rich pay so much to get them illegally?"
Precisely because they're illegal and very hard to get.
Look, underage Tracis Lords isn't nearly as hot, freaky or skilled as, say, Aurora Snow or Gauge. But people are willing to pay a fortune for her old Penthouse mags and VHS tapes. Why? Because it's scarce and illegal.
