When I got an IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT EMAIL from TicketMaster, I feared the worst. He'd passed away. He'd taken ill. He's canceled the rest of the tour. Something had happened. The man is, after all, 74.
Oh no. The email said, basically, that Leonard Cohen is an elder and will be starting the show exactly at the time on your damn tickets, and you whippersnappers will not be seated except perhaps between songs if you can't be asked to get there on time. Awesome.
He's one of the artists left on my list of people I want to see before I die. Who's on yours?

Wouldn't "before he dies" be more appropriate in this case?
