Nah, the haiku thing was cool when the haiku troll did it on /. back in the day. Actually, no, it wasn't. It was fun when you did it for a bit, but you're not really making them very haiku-ish. No nature themes, no poetic expressions sometimes. Some are good, but some really don't have the beautiful minimalistic expression I expect from a masterfully crafted haiku.
